The Call from Future Self: How to Create Your Own Reality with Intention

Creating the Reality You Desire
We all hold the ability to create new experiences for ourselves with awareness, unequivocally believing in yourself and imagination. I want to invite you to practice the The Call from Future Self exercise so that you can step into the powerful creative space within you; where your body, mind, and spirit already know how to live with ease, love, and peace.
When you imagine the life you desire as already being your reality, your system begins to adjust gently so that you realize that change is possible and already unfolding.
Step 1: Ground and Imagine
Find a moment of stillness. Breathe into your body, softening into presence. Now imagine yourself six months from today: happy, healthy, excited for your reality, feeling connected to yourself and dear loved ones, and vibrant in a way that feels aligned and fulfilling. Your days flow with meaning and warmth. You are living from authenticity and self‑trust.
Step 2: The Conversation
Envision your future self talking to your best friend — someone who has always seen your light.They ask, “How have things been?”Your future self is beaming and excitedly begins to share all the details: the moments that fill your days, the peace that anchors you, the excitement that colors your life, what your surroundings look like, how it all feels in your body and the beautiful connections in your life.
As you describe this world, you’re giving yourself permission to experience it now: to feel its reality through your senses and emotions.
Step 3: Write It Into Being
Write your story beginning with:
“It’s six months later, and I’m telling my best friend all about my life…”
Don't think about it too much as you write. Let the words flow freely. Describe how your mornings feel, what joy looks like, who surrounds you, and what you love about this version of your life. The writing itself becomes a bridge between your current state and your desired one.
Why It Works
This reflection invites you to think and feel as the person who already has what you desire. In that space, the boundaries of limitation fade. You believe (not wish) that the life you want is within reach, because you’re already experiencing it internally.
By embodying the mindset and emotional tone of your future self, you open pathways for new choices, behaviors, and opportunities to match that energy. And perhaps most importantly, you begin to know, not hope, that you are absolutely worthy of everything you envision.
