What If Nothing Needs to Be Fixed?

I have never believed that my job is to fix anyone.
Not because I lack tools. Not because I do not care. But because the people who walk into my office are not broken. They have simply forgotten (as we all do) what they already are.
What I Actually Do
I sit. I listen. I love. Even when the story in the room is heavy, even when neither of us knows the why. I can hold great amounts of pain. Not because I have answers, but because I know that pain, too, is part of the play. Part of the remembering.
My work is not to guide someone out of their darkness. It is to be with them in it, fully, until they remember that the darkness was never separate from the light.
The Question I Sit With
Lately I have been sitting with something deeper. If everything that appears in this room: the pain, the person, the problem, the progress is a kind of projection, a play of attention, then what is the point of the play?
If nothing exists except this one creative force, this awareness that we all are, then what am I doing here? What is therapy, if both of us are already the same thing?
I do not have a tidy answer. But here is what I am learning:
The play matters because we are here to play it. The remembering matters because we forgot. The love in this room matters because it is what we are, dressed up as two people talking.
What This Means for You
If you come to me, I will not hand you a framework. I will not promise to rewire your thoughts or heal your wounds. Not because they are not real, but because you were never the wound. You were never the thought. You are the space in which they arise, and you are also the love that holds that space.
My role is to remind you. To sit with you until the remembering happens; not as an idea, but as a felt sense in your body. You are not broken. You never were.
Who This Is For
If you are looking for a therapist who will strategize, and fix you into wholeness, I am not the right fit.
But if you are tired of being treated like a problem to solve. If you sense that your pain is not a mistake but a doorway. If you want someone who will meet you in the not-knowing and love you there..
then maybe this is the work.

I do not promise to change your life. I promise to see you, fully, without agenda, and to remember, out loud, what you might have forgotten about yourself.
